On the 25th of November 2024, Amani Kibera in partnership with other 50 organizations will join hands to host a community peace walk around Kibera to campaign against violence against women and girls. This walk comes at a time when femicide cases are on the rise in Kenya calling for heightened campaigns against the vice. Several stakeholders have been invited from duty bearers and also non state actors and survivors of gender based violence. The event will end at the Guardalupe Catholic church, Adam's where speeches will be read.
