Which part contains the female hormone?

The female hormones, estrogen and progesterone, are mainly secreted by the ovaries. Estrogen is produced by the granulosa cells of the developing follicle. Progesterone is produced by the adrenal cortex as well as the ovaries and it's also secreted by the ovarian corpus luteum during the first ten weeks of pregnancy, followed by the placenta in the later phase of pregnancy.
